In continuing with the Things Series, today I will be talking about the things I am hopeful about. I have some many things I am hopeful for in my lifetime. Below are the things that are most present in my mind.
My Career
As I may have stated before, I am a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) and I love it. My job fits my personality perfectly, and while I probably won’t be a CRC for the rest of my life, I am happy with the time that I am. Hopefully, at some point in time, I will receive my Ph.D. where I can work alongside an MD as a sub-investigator which leads me to my next hopeful statement.
My Education
I will be done with my master degree in December 2019. I am grateful that I was able to obtain my bachelor’s and even more thankful that I could get my masters. I honestly can’t wait until I become accepted to a Ph.D. program and complete it. Additionally, with me working at a university I may be able to obtain a second master’s degree for free while I work on the first masters. This time next years, I could have a Master’s of Science in Psychology and Counseling.
My Future House
As we have discussed, I am in the progress of looking at buying a house, condo, townhouse, something of my own. I am hopeful about decorating, making it my own, eating meals outside, watching the nieces and nephews play. I am excited about the whole process. Moving to a small apartment about 2 blocks from my job provides me the room to pay all of my bills with one paycheck while using the other paycheck for debts and savings. I am very excited about this transition.
